KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 5, 2025--

PayIt, the leader in digital customer experience solutions with integrated payments for state, local, and provincial governments, is pleased to announce it has partnered with Pitt County, North Carolina to provide a digital payments platform for multiple County services.

myPittCounty initially launched in May 2024 to offer a modern experience that allows residents to manage their Real Estate and Personal Property taxes. Since its launch, myPittCounty has rolled out a mobile application on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and added the ability for residents to manage animal services and solid waste and recycling accounts.

This means residents can manage multiple services — for example, pay their property taxes, donate to their local animal shelters, and settle their solid waste account — all in one, central platform. In 2024, myPittCounty processed 13.4k transactions, representing nearly $23M in revenue across the multiple services available in the platform.

“We’re excited about the myPittCounty platform and all the benefits it is bringing not only to our staff, but to the residents and customers we serve,” said Michael Taylor, Deputy County Manager and Chief Information Office at Pitt County. “We've already seen growth in residents paying online, and the user-friendliness of the platform has reduced our customer support inquiries. We look forward to continuing to expand the services we offer via myPittCounty.”

myPittCounty integrates with the County’s existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments that use the platform. The modern, accessible interface reduces the need for phone calls, mailed checks, and office visits. It also improves internal County processes, enhancing reconciliation and refunding procedures and taking the compliance, security, and customer service burdens from County staff.

“We’re proud to expand our footprint in North Carolina with the Pitt County team, who want the best possible experience for the residents they serve,” said Jean Nobile, SVP of Operations at PayIt. “We’re pleased to already have additional services live since launch, and we look forward to expanding myPittCounty’s features to make it even easier for customers to interact with their government.”
