Umovity Announces Leadership Transition: CFO Andy Myers Appointed as CEO; Christian U. Haas Joins the Advisory Board

Umovity today announced that Andy Myers, currently Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective 1 October. Christian U. Haas will step down after six years as CEO and join the Advisory Board.

Over the past two years as CFO, Andy Myers has played a pivotal role in shaping Umovity’s strategy and operations. Prior to joining, he served as CFO of SUSE, the world’s largest independent open-source software company, and McLaren, the British manufacturer of high-performance sports cars and Formula 1 racing team. His broad experience across both software-led and hardware-driven businesses ideally positions him to lead Umovity’s continued growth and industry consolidation.

Since the separation in 2023, Christian has led Umovity, establishing it as a global leader in holistic traffic planning, simulation and management software, and advanced traffic hardware.
