SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug 28, 2025--

Deepinvent, a Silicon Valley superintelligence company advancing solutions for humanity’s challenges, today revealed the winners of the Deepinvent4Good Inventathon, the world’s first virtual competition empowering innovators to transform bold ideas into meaningful, positive inventions.

Out of hundreds of submissions from innovators around the world, the top three winners met all competition requirements and judges' praise for innovation.

“Deepinvent4Good has been an incredible success, attracting more than 300 submissions across 10 countries and 14 industries,” said Dr. Marcus Weller, founder and CEO of Deepinvent.ai. “Selecting winners was no easy task with each invention representing a meaningful contribution to humanity. Together with our distinguished judges we selected the inventions that will benefit humanity."

The top three winners named are:

  • The $10,000 Grand Prize and a lifetime subscription to the Deepinvent platform go to Laura Brown of the United States for her Integrated Roadway Animal Presence and Deterrence System with V2X Communication for Autonomous Vehicles and Smart Traffic Management. Brown’s system integrates vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication to detect and deter animals on roadways, reducing collisions while enhancing the safety of both drivers and wildlife.
  • Second place, Alessandro De Angelis of Germany selected for his Real-Time Quantum-Inspired Emotional State Encoding and Adaptive Sound Synthesis System (KÚMA). KÚMA is a groundbreaking, quantum-inspired sound engine that transforms human biometric signals into adaptive, therapeutic soundscapes in real time. By capturing EEG, heart rate variability, and galvanic skin response, the system creates personalized audio experiences that evolve with each listener—supporting mental health, focus, and neuro-rehabilitation.
  • Third place is awarded to Brian Cliette of the United States for his Hybrid Dual-Functional Magnetic-Electro Filter Cartridge with Smart Sensing, Adaptive Regeneration, and Integrated High-Efficiency PFAS/Microplastic Waste Management. Cliette’s invention, inspired by a family vacation, reimagines water purification and waste management. Developed with input from his children, the system is one of five open-source innovations addressing challenges from microplastics to global health.

The judges panel included Giselli Panontini, Vice President at Microsoft leading Microsoft Copilot for Office 365; Anastasiia Nosova, CEO of Cyrillic and creator of the most-followed YouTube channel on computing and AI; Chris Yeh, co-author of Blitzscaling (with Reid Hoffman) and Founding Partner at Blitzscaling Ventures; and Bhavin Modi, Engineer at OpenAI and former Meta engineer who contributed to the operating system for Oculus VR. Together, they reviewed the cream of the crop from hundreds of submissions against five weighted criteria: impact (35%), innovation and reach (25%), social proof (15%), user-informed invention (15%), and technical execution (10%). The framework favored solutions capable of scaling quickly and delivering measurable benefit to people and the planet.

People's Choice and honorable mentions go to the following invention submissions:

People's Choice: Revathi Raghunath of India: Comprehensive Adaptive Learning and Remote Supervision Platform for DHH Children in Low-Resource Settings

Honorable Mentions:

  • Carlos Leon of France :EcoBalance Score System for Dynamic Urban Environmental Management
  • Néstor Nicolás Campos Rojas of Chile: Smart Biofilm-Integrated Adaptive Textile Systems with Embedded Portable Bioreactors and Extremophile-Enzyme Support for Human Resilience in Extreme Environments
  • Žan Ožbot of Slovenia: Accelerating Rare Disease Therapeutics: A Comprehensive AI System for Target Identification, Molecule Design, and Virtual Trials
  • Eimis Pacheco of the United States: Global, AI-Driven Gamified Talent Fingerprinting Platform for Low-Resource Contexts
