Maryland went 27-9 overall with a 12-2 record against non-conference opponents during the 2024-25 season. The Terrapins averaged 81.1 points per game while shooting 47.0% from the field and 37.4% from deep last season.

Coppin State went 6-24 overall with a 2-13 record in non-conference games during the 2024-25 season. The Eagles averaged 62.2 points per game last season, 13.5 from the free-throw line and 15.6 from beyond the arc.
