WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 28, 2025--
NVIDIA GTC DC 2025 – HPE (NYSE: HPE), today announced an expanded NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, designed to make AI easier to deploy and scale across governments, regulated industries, and enterprises. The expanded offering helps organizations build secure, private AI infrastructure faster and more efficiently through turnkey AI factory solutions, unified data strategies, and refreshed server platforms featuring the latest NVIDIA AI infrastructure and software.
AI adoption is surging across sectors, but nearly 60 percent of organizations have fragmented AI goals and strategies and just as many lack comprehensive data management for AI, according to the 2025 Architecting an AI Advantage report1. HPE and NVIDIA are working together to tackle these challenges with a comprehensive suite of HPE solutions for AI factories, spanning developers to sovereign AI cloud builders, enabling organizations to develop a holistic AI infrastructure strategy.
"To accelerate widespread AI adoption in enterprises, technology must directly address the core challenges that organizations face around complex deployments and fragmented, highly sensitive data. Together with NVIDIA, we offer a different approach with full-stack, private AI factories that simplify operations and help enterprises and governments scale quickly while staying compliant,” said Fidelma Russo, executive vice president and general manager, Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE.
“AI factories are the new infrastructure of the intelligence era — built to generate tokens of intelligence at massive scale,” said Justin Boitano, vice president, Enterprise Software at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA and HPE are building these full-stack systems — integrating NVIDIA Blackwell, NVIDIA networking software and AI Data Platform reference designs — to power agentic AI, unlock automation and accelerate digital transformation for every industry.”
Secure, Scalable AI Factories for Enterprise and Government
The second generation of HPE Private Cloud AI, co-developed with NVIDIA as part of the NVIDIA AI computing by HPE portfolio, is now available in a small form factor for accelerating AI time-to-value for every enterprise. New capabilities and offerings for the turnkey AI factory include:
- Industry-leading AI Performance: HPE Private Cloud AI now features the new ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 servers and NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, which deliver three times better price-to-performance for enterprise AI workloads 2. HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 servers are a leader in MLPerf™ Inference v5.1 benchmarks with seven top rankings, including record performance with RTX PRO 6000 3.
- AI Factory Deployments for Governments: HPE Private Cloud AI and HPE’s AI factory for sovereigns will support the new NVIDIA AI Factory for Government, a full-stack, end-to-end reference design that meets the compliance needs of high-assurance organizations and provides guidance for deploying and managing multiple AI workloads on-premises and in the hybrid cloud.
- Secure AI for Sovereign Organizations: New air-gapped management enables network-isolated cloud environments for secure, compliant deployments that are often required by governments, sovereign entities, and regulated industries.
- Reimagined Customer Experiences: HPE Services provides a new offering that uses HPE Private Cloud AI and NVIDIA NeMo to create digital avatar assistants to revolutionize customer interaction and business support for smart cities and industries including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, banking and finance, and education.
- Accelerated AI outcomes: A new system adoption accelerator service for HPE Private Cloud Developer Edition provides users with comprehensive post-installation functional testing that includes sample pre-built pipelines and knowledge transfer sessions for data science teams.
With the Town of the Vail as the lighthouse customer, HPE has launched the HPE Agentic Smart City Solution, a unified AI-driven solution that helps cities scale from isolated pilot projects to citywide smart infrastructure using secure, integrated, and scalable agentic AI systems. SHI, NVIDIA and HPE Unleash AI validated partners are working with the Town of Vail, using HPE Private Cloud AI, to accelerate accessibility compliance, permitting and wildfire detection.
Agentic AI Data, Pipelines and Governance
HPE is announcing new capabilities for its unified data layer that enable data governance using agentic AI and unstructured data storage in air-gapped environments. HPE’s unified data layer speeds up the AI data lifecycle through a combination of the global namespace with HPE Data Fabric Software and data intelligence with the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000. With the unified data layer deployed through the NVIDIA AI Data Platform —including NVIDIA accelerated computing, networking and AI software—enterprises can feed applications, models, and agents intelligently with AI-ready data.
- Secure-by-design data storage for AI: The X10000 can now be managed in air-gapped environments, giving a cloud management experience in environments that need to limit access to external networks.
- GPU-Accelerated Access: The X10000 also supports the new NVIDIA S3oRDMA solution, delivering up to twice the performance through remote direct memory access (RDMA) transfers between GPU memory, system memory, and the X10000.
- Agentic Governance: To radically simplify how organizations securely govern and federate data, HPE Data Fabric now delivers agentic AI-powered governance. Using Model Context Protocol (MCP), HPE Data Fabric enables secure model-to-data interactions, consistent compliance enforcement, and reduced time-to-insight. The global namespace federates structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data—delivering “data without borders” for AI pipelines.
Comprehensive AI Infrastructure for Any Scale with NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE
To address the challenges of deploying AI at scale, HPE announces new offerings in the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio that scale deployment for developers, enterprises, and sovereign entities.
- HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 now supports eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra (B300 GPUs) in a 5U, direct-liquid cooled HGX chassis. HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO) delivers built-in security and HPE Performance Cluster Manager provides integrated cluster management. The XD685 is optimized for AI service providers and neoclouds, as well as ambitious enterprises and model builders that need to stand up large, secure, and validated AI clusters.
- NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 by HPE, delivering breakthrough performance optimized for AI models of more than 1 trillion parameters, is now available to order and expected to ship December 2025.
- HPE ProLiant Compute DL380 Gen12 Server Premier Solution for Azure Local will deliver secure hybrid cloud infrastructure that allows enterprises to run Azure services anywhere and to accelerate AI innovation. The new solution brings select Azure services and AI capabilities directly to the datacenter, while supporting NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs for AI, graphics, and VDI workloads.
- HPE is boosting AI and graphics performance across eight HPE ProLiant platforms by offering a broad range of NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure—including the powerful RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition and the compact NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU. These options give organizations in research, education, healthcare, finance, media, manufacturing, and retail the flexibility to accelerate demanding workloads with scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
HPE ProLiant and HPE Cray servers will be time-to-market with the latest NVIDIA offerings, including NVIDIA Rubin CPXs, and NVIDIA Vera Rubin CPX platforms. Future models of HPE servers will offer support for NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNIC and the NVIDIA BlueField-4. NVIDIA BlueField-4 is a DPU for gigascale AI factories, delivering 800 Gb/s throughput, and features multi-tenant networking, AI runtime security, rapid data access, and high-performance inference processing.
