BOTTOM LINE: Virginia Tech starts the season at home against Towson.

Virginia Tech went 12-6 at home a season ago while going 19-13 overall. The Hokies averaged 16.1 points off of turnovers, 9.7 second-chance points and 2.1 bench points last season.

Towson finished 4-10 on the road and 12-20 overall a season ago. The Tigers averaged 59.2 points per game last season, 10.7 from the free-throw line and 15 from beyond the arc.
