Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks at VCU Rams

Richmond, Virginia; Wednesday, 6 p.m. EST

BOTTOM LINE: VCU begins the season at home against Maryland-Eastern Shore.

VCU went 12-19 overall a season ago while going 6-9 at home. The Rams averaged 13.8 points off of turnovers, 9.1 second-chance points and 0.8 bench points last season.

Maryland-Eastern Shore finished 4-7 on the road and 14-17 overall a season ago. The Hawks averaged 60.6 points per game last season, 14.4 on free throws and 10.8 from 3-point range.
