Rockies scratch Ryan Feltner from start against Braves, Zach Agnos to open in a bullpen game

ATLANTA (AP) — The Colorado Rockies made a late change at starting pitcher for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Braves when scheduled starter Ryan Feltner was too ill to take the mound.

Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer said Feltner was vomiting most of the night, but would be available to pitch Saturday if he felt well enough to make it to the ballpark.

Right-hander Zach Agnos (0-2) will start what will be a bullpen game for the Rockies. Agnos has two starts — one a scheduled bullpen game and one where he stayed in for a season-high five innings in what was a 2-1 loss to the Diamondbacks. He has generally pitched two to three innings out of the bullpen this season.

Feltner (5-8) has made 20 starts this year for the Rockies and is coming off two rough appearances where he allowed 14 runs in 10 2/3 innings.

The Rockies have lost nine of 11 and dropped the opener of the three-game series 6-4 against the Braves on Friday night. Right-hander Martín Pérez (8-8) will start for the Braves.
