Morris says Falcons must learn to 'force our will' on teams

ATLANTA (AP) — Raheem Morris wants the Atlanta Falcons to play tough. He also wants the Falcons to protect leads. Morris is bringing the tough approach as interim coach. He takes over the team for the final 11 games of the season. Dan Quinn was fired Sunday night following the Falcons' first 0-5 start since 1997. Morris, who had been the team's defensive coordinator, says the Falcons must “find a way to put our foot on people’s throats in games.” The Falcons play at Minnesota on Sunday. The 44-year-old Morris was 17-31 as coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2011.
