Mehaffey soaking in Augusta National with focus on winning

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Olivia Mehaffey loved getting to play a practice round at Augusta National, just like two years ago. The difference this year was being in contention at the Augusta National Women's Amateur. The 81-player field was given a practice round on Friday. The 30 who made the 36-hole cut at Champions Retreat advance to the final round on Saturday at the home of the Masters. Rose Zhang and Ingrid Lindblad were tied for the lead. Mehaffey and Auston Kim were one shot behind. Some of the women say the ANWA already is among the most prestigious amateur events in women's golf.
