The World Cup group play wrapped up and the last places in the round of 32 were decided. Eight teams had remained in contention for four spots going into the final six matches of group play. England faced Panama, Croatia met Ghana, Colombia took on Portugal, Congo battled Uzbekistan, while Algeria played Austria and Jordan closed group play against Argentina.
