Police: Georgia woman says she was kidnapped, assaulted

ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) — Police in Georgia say they rescued a woman who was kidnapped, then drugged and assaulted over a two-day span.

Roswell police told news outlets they used a new locating system to find the woman who called 911 Tuesday saying she was kidnapped and didn't know her location. Authorities tracked her to a home in Roswell but her captors were gone before they arrived.

Lt. Noah Caplan says the woman was bought to the home on Sunday from College Park.

Caplan says the woman knows one of her assailants and authorities believe there are more suspects. Caplan says one of the suspects may have been renting the home where officers found the woman.

No arrests were immediately made. The woman's condition is unclear.
