Lake Tahoe resort security guards rescue man from drowning

STATELINE, Nev. (AP) — A California man who almost drowned at a Lake Tahoe resort on Monday night has been discharged from the hospital with no long-term complications. After Charanverr Singh and his girlfriend cried for help from the indoor pool at Mont Bleu Resort Casino and Spa in Stateline, Nevada, security guards dove in and retrieved him from the bottom of the pool. The man was underwater for more than two minutes, had no pulse, was blue and unresponsive when security guards started to resuscitate him. He was then transported to the Barton Memorial Hospital, where doctors determined he sustained no long term damage.
