TCW Strategic Income Fund Announces Monthly Distribution

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 5, 2026--

The TCW Group, a leading global investment firm, announced today that the TCW Strategic Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: TSI) has declared a monthly distribution of $0.0217 per share payable on January 30, 2026, to shareholders of record on January 15, 2026.

The distribution is based on a new policy approved by the Fund’s Board of Directors to pay distributions on a monthly basis instead of quarterly. As a result, distributions will be based on the Fund’s accumulated net investment income and/or other sources by month, rather than by quarter. This change will lead to changes in both the frequency and size of distributions but is not expected to have an impact on the aggregate annual distribution. The $0.0217 per share dividend in January would be equivalent to a quarterly distribution of $0.065 per share.

The Directors continue to monitor conditions and circumstances relating to the distribution of dividends and make such changes as they, in consultation with the Fund’s portfolio managers, deem appropriate. Distribution policy is a matter of Board discretion and may be modified or terminated at any time without prior notice.

TSI is a closed-end fund listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The Fund began operations in March 1987 and currently has net assets of approximately $250 million. The Fund’s prospectus is available at no charge on tcw.com.
