The Yunlin County Government has held the Taiwan Agriculture Machinery Exhibition for 19 consecutive years, with new highlights introduced each year.

Magistrate Chang said this year’s exhibition gathered over 400 leading domestic and international brands, featuring more than 1,000 booths across themed zones, including low-carbon tractors, carbon-sequestration machinery, electric and labor-saving agricultural equipment, smart greenhouse monitoring systems, circular agriculture, and construction machinery. In addition to indoor displays, a large outdoor demonstration area featured live equipment presentations. The collaboration among the Yunlin County Government, the Taiwan Agricultural Machinery and Supplies Association, the Taiwan Agricultural Structures Association, and the Taiwan Construction Machine Association Network, has made the exhibition Taiwan’s most specialized event in agricultural machinery.

Magistrate Chang highlighted that Yunlin County, as one of Taiwan’s leading agricultural regions, has hosted the exhibition for 19 consecutive years, constantly introducing innovative content. This year’s international pavilion featured exhibitors from six countries, fostering cross-border technological exchange and cooperation while enhancing the event’s global visibility.

The county government remains committed to advancing its dual policy goals of Smart Agriculture and Net-Zero Sustainability, integrating resources from industry, government, academia, and research. By adopting electric agricultural machinery, digital management systems, and energy-efficient carbon-reduction technologies, the county continues to refine agricultural practices from production to sales, advancing its vision of eco-friendly, low-carbon farming. Magistrate Chang stressed that the event has evolved into a vital platform for knowledge exchange between farmers and industry leaders, helping farmers stay updated on the latest agricultural technologies, paving the way for a stronger and more sustainable future for Taiwan’s agriculture.

Director of the Yunlin County Government’s Department of Agriculture Wei Sheng-de said the county has long worked to elevate Taiwan’s agriculture globally through smart and electric transformation. Leveraging the Taiwan Agriculture Machinery Exhibition in Yunlin, the event draws leading exhibitors annually and this year showcased Taiwan’s progress in precision agriculture, smart irrigation, drone applications and electric agricultural machinery. The county also helps farmers boost productivity and safety, strengthening competitiveness and advancing greener, smarter, and more sustainable agriculture.

Taiwan Agricultural Machinery and Supplies Association Chairman Lin Yu-kuo remarked that the exhibition remains Taiwan’s leading platform for agricultural machinery and materials, with record participation and sales. Post-event orders are expected to exceed NT$1 billion, reflecting strong industry investment in smart and sustainable agriculture.

Magistrate Chang noted that the Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition symbolizes “a new future for smart agriculture.” The county will keep advancing smart farming, strengthening industry linkages, positioning Yunlin as a model for Taiwan’s global agricultural growth.
