Siyata SD7-B Bridge
The Siyata SD7-B Bridge is an advanced interoperability mission-critical gateway and switch, engineered to seamlessly connect LMR systems with broadband push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) networks. It is ideal for organizations that want to gradually transition staff from LMR radios to PoC handsets while maintaining the ability for all team members to communicate across technologies. The device is particularly well-suited for public safety, utilities, schools, construction, security, hospitality, and property management sectors.
The SD7-B Bridge is built upon the market-leading SD7 hardware platform. Connected via a cable to an LMR radio, the SD7-B Bridge enables seamless communication between staff using cellular PTT devices and those using traditional LMR radios. The solution supports interoperability across multiple channels, with each channel requiring one Bridge, one LMR radio, and a manufacturer-specific cable compatible with leading LMR radio brands such as Motorola, Kenwood, Tait or L3Harris.
Organizations with mixed communication fleets, particularly those transitioning from LMR to cellular PTT, will benefit from the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of SD7-B Bridge. Users of Siyata’s SD7 handset or the new SD7 Ultra handset can communicate effortlessly with a team using LMR radios, ensuring continuity and safety across operations.
Marc Seelenfreund, CEO of Siyata PTT, commented, “Our customers are increasingly looking for reliable ways to bridge the gap between legacy LMR systems and modern Push to Talk over cellular solutions. Interoperability is no longer optional. It is essential for safety, efficiency and operational continuity. Importantly, users of a Siyata handset can communicate effortlessly with a team using LMR radios, ensuring continuity and safety across operations.”
Bob Escalle, VP of Public Safety at Siyata PTT, added, "The SD7-B Bridge provides the simplest and most cost-effective path for organizations to achieve interoperability across their communication networks. It is portable, quick to deploy, mission-critical, compatible with multiple LMR brands and it ensures teams can communicate seamlessly, regardless of the technology they use."
The SD7-B Bridge is now available for order through Siyata PTT’s distribution network.
