Shermco Expands Central Texas Leadership with Acquisition of Power Quality Engineering

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 11, 2026--

Shermco Industries, a leading provider of electrical testing, engineering and design, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services, announced today it has acquired Power Quality Engineering (“PQE” or “the Company”). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1996 and based in Cedar Park, Texas, PQE has built a strong reputation for excellence in electrical system design and engineering, commissioning, and maintenance services. The Company serves mission-critical sectors including data centers, semiconductors, healthcare, water/wastewater, and commercial facilities.

The acquisition strengthens Shermco’s core service offerings, broadens its presence in Central Texas, and supports its strategic expansion in the rapidly growing data center market.
