TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 5, 2025--

Today’s enterprise cybersecurity defenses start too late. Malanta, the industry’s first pre-attack prevention platform, today exited stealth with $10 million in funding to stop breaches. Built around the pre-emptive disruption of cyber threats increasingly leveraging AI vectors, dubbed AI.Attackers, Malanta gives enterprises visibility and control before attacks take shape. The seed round was led by Cardumen Capital, with participation from The Group Ventures (TGV). Notable angel investors in the pre-seed stage include Udi Mokady, founder and executive chairman of CyberArk; Benny Schneider; Harel Prag and Amit Greener general partners at RollOut Ventures.

Malanta Exits Stealth with $10M to Redefine Enterprise Security for the AI Era

The AI boom has empowered AI.Attackers to automate reconnaissance and exploit digital exposures in minutes rather than days. Traditional, reactive defenses can’t match that pace. Malanta’s platform uses predictive intelligence to surface Indicators of Pre-Attack (IoPA), the digital breadcrumbs adversaries lay down, then forecasts how and when they’ll be weaponized. By collecting pre-attack signals from across the internet that reveal attacker setup activity – new domain registrations, command-and-control servers, phishing kits under development to name a few – Malanta stops AI.Attackers at the setup stage.

“Malanta was born to solve a major gap in the age of AI: the window between exposure and compromise is shrinking dramatically,” said Kobi Ben Naim, co-founder and CEO of Malanta. “We spoke with more than 70 CISOs and founders who told us they’re overloaded with 3–7 threat-intel feeds yet struggle to operationalize them, and success is still measured by cleanup (MTTD/MTTR), not prevention. We’re here to change that.”

Rather than another alert stream or pen test, Malanta acts as a pre-attack disruption layer. Within minutes of onboarding, the platform maps a company’s digital footprint, correlating it with AI-driven adversary build-ups. It then uses neural exposure mapping to rank imminent threats and identify which assets are most likely to be weaponized next.

Malanta was founded in 2024 by serial entrepreneurs Kobi Ben Naim, CEO, Guy Ben Arie, Head of Engineering, Yossi Dantes, CPO and Tal Kandel, CBO. The platform has been granted one patent with two additional patents pending. The team brings 20+ years of cybersecurity expertise to the company. The founders worked together for more than seven years at CyberArk, spanning defense and offense roles, deep-tech engineering, artificial intelligence development and scaling products from 0 to $100 million+ ARR.

Malanta is already having a significant real-world impact at the Israel National Cyber Directorate. Through cooperation with the organization, and leveraging their IoPA (Indicators of Pre-Attack), the organization was able to identify and dismantle real adversary infrastructure targeting hundreds of Israeli companies in different sectors.

“The sharing of professional and reliable information between cyber entities is a cornerstone of national defense,” said Dana Toren, head of the CERT division (Cyber Emergency Response Team) at the Israel National Cyber Directorate. “When cybersecurity companies choose to report and share their findings with the Israel National Cyber Directorate, they strengthen national resilience and help close security gaps that put us all at risk. This is the kind of collaboration that delivers real value and changes reality.”

Malanta is in deployment with customers from the financial services, software, technology and government sectors and is generally available for enterprises and design partners.

The funding will be used to expand engineering and GTM, add new IoPA types and data sources and deepen integrations so customers can automatically apply Malanta’s preemptive intelligence across their existing controls. The team is also extending coverage to uncover additional attack infrastructure earlier in the build-up phase.

“The only way to level the playing field is to prepare, like the attackers, before the attack takes place. In other words, focus on pre-attack prevention,” said Gonzalo Martínez De Azagra, founder and general partner at Cardumen Capital. “AI is transforming the security landscape, and the global AI and cybersecurity market is projected to reach $86 billion by 2026, according to Mordor Intelligence. The team has created a durable advantage for enterprises of all sizes.”
