ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta’s international airport is again seeking developers for five parcels of land around the airport. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport plans to lease the land, which totals more than 150 acres. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday that possible uses include retail and entertainment space, a cargo or logistics facility, aviation office space and a restaurant or travel center. The airport sought developers for the properties in 2019, but cancelled that effort in June 2020 because of uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Proposals under the new bidding process are due by Dec. 20.
