SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 12, 2026--

Airgain, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRG), a leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions, today announced that Coco Robotics, an emerging leader in autonomous delivery systems, has selected Airgain NimbeLink® cellular modems to enable wireless connectivity across its next generation of delivery robots launching later this year. As Coco expands its autonomous delivery network, the program represents a multi-million-dollar opportunity for Airgain over the life of the rollout.

Coco Robotics is redefining how goods move in dense urban environments using compact, AI‑enabled delivery robots designed for safe sidewalk operation and real‑world logistics workflows. Reliable wireless performance is critical for autonomous navigation, remote operations, telemetrics, and real‑time fleet management. After evaluating connectivity options, Coco selected Airgain’s modems for their proven reliability, compact footprint, carrier pre‑certification, multi‑carrier flexibility, and robust performance across diverse operating conditions.

“We are excited to support Coco Robotics as they bring their next generation of autonomous delivery robots to market,” said Brian Makarowski, VP of Product Management and Marketing at Airgain. “Robotics is becoming a fast-growing application area within the IoT business, and this design win highlights how our NimbeLink portfolio enables highly reliable, always‑connected systems operating in the real world.”

Coco’s delivery robots integrate two Airgain modems per unit, ensuring redundancy and continuous communication with navigation engines, cloud orchestration systems, and critical operational data paths. This dual‑modem architecture supports uninterrupted connectivity in complex RF environments such as dense neighborhoods, commercial districts, campuses, and mixed‑use urban areas. As Coco expands deployment pilots and launches in new geographies later this year, Airgain’s modems will provide the cellular foundation that keeps each robot connected, aware, and responsive.

“Every Coco delivery depends on a fast, reliable connection between our robots and the teams and systems supporting them in real time,” said Robert Zehner, VP of Engineering at Coco Robotics. “Airgain's LTE modems are a core part of making that happen, and their pre-certified technology means we can focus on building the best delivery robot possible rather than navigating a complex web of carrier and regulatory approvals. We're proud to have Airgain as our cellular modem supplier as we continue to scale with our next-generation Coco 2 delivery robot.”

Airgain’s IoT business continues to expand across a wide range of connected applications, including digital signage, EV charging, payments, industrial automation, and now autonomous robotics. The addition of Coco Robotics further underscores the growing role of IoT‑enabled robotics in connected commerce and highlights Airgain’s expanding presence in next‑generation automation and mobility markets.
