Everyone has stumbled and fallen, and many have the scars to prove it. No one is perfect, not even close. Try as we might, perfection for human beings is an impossibility. As the Bible states in Romans, all have sinned and come up well short of God’s glory.

But despite our sins and disobedience, we can be forgiven. Jesus Christ willingly died, going to the cross, where He gave up Himself, taking our place and enduring our punishment. The blood He shed on Calvary can now wash away sins, making people new creations in Christ. His love and forgiveness are freely offered to all; we simply have to ask for forgiveness and accept those wonderful, life-changing and life-saving gifts.

In Pat’s beautifully written and catchy song, he sings about the difference Christ has made in the lives of those who have been forgiven and accepted His love, mercy and grace. Christ is worthy of all glory, honor and praise for the forgiveness, hope and life that He provides.

For the difference Christ has made in countless lives and the blessings He continues to bestow freely, what other way can you adequately thank Him? There is no way to express gratitude due to Him properly but to praise Him forever, even that will never be enough. How can you thank someone for providing hope when there was none and offering everlasting life?

Psalm 117:1-2 “Let all nations give praise to the Lord: let all the people give him praise. For great is his mercy to us, and his faith is unchanging forever. Praise be to the Lord.”
