“This is going to be our biggest year yet,” said National Life Group Chair, CEO and President, Mehran Assadi. “Where else can you relax with your family and friends, listen to a full day of incredible music, and take in the view for a $10 general admission ticket that will go to support children’s mental health?”

Since 2014, the National Life Group Do Good Fest raised more than $2.3 million to benefit cancer patients, hunger relief organizations, children’s mental health, and flood relief and recovery in Vermont.

Advance tickets are required, starting at a minimum donation of $10, benefitting the National Life Peace of Mind Fund which has been established to distribute all proceeds to five organizations across the state that provide support to children struggling with their mental health. Those organizations are Spectrum Youth and Family Services, Howard Center, Elevate Youth Services, Clara Martin Center, and Community Care Network. Addressing children’s mental health is one of National Life Group’s core causes.

“It’s extremely rewarding to see so many people come together to do good in our community,” said John Mullett, president of the National Life Group Foundation and the executive producer of the event. “From those who attend and make a donation to support children and their families to the National Life employees who volunteer their time to the musicians who rock the hill every year, it doesn’t get any better.”

National Life Group also announced that submissions are now open for its Beats for Good high school musician competition for students in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and the Plattsburgh, NY region. Videos must be submitted by May 4 for a chance to perform at the festival and win cash prizes. The grand prize winner will open Do Good Fest, receive $5,000 for their school’s music program, a $1,500 personal prize and receive exclusive backstage access. Runners-up will also earn funds for their schools.

Public voting for Beats for Good submissions will take place from May 25 to June 1, with winners announced on Star 92.9’s Mike and Mary.

In addition to the music, more than 20 food trucks and vendors, a beer garden, a VIP lounge, and a Nonprofit Village will be onsite capped off with an exciting fireworks display.

National Life is once again partnering with Star 92.9 to present Do Good Fest on the company’s back lawn in Montpelier. Other sponsors include WCAX, NTT Data, Union Mutual, Vermont Mutual, Toppan Merrill, Sodexo, Mercer, Delta Dental, Seven Days, BMS, and Colbeck.

Gates open at 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026. More for information, go to DoGoodFest.com.
