SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug 14, 2025--

Cotiviti, a leader in data-driven healthcare solutions, has welcomed accomplished healthcare technology leader Robert Kopanic as its new Chief Revenue Officer as the organization drives customer growth across its newly expanded portfolio. Bringing more than 25 years of healthcare leadership to his role at Cotiviti, Kopanic will lead the company’s healthcare sales and client engagement teams.

“Following Cotiviti’s recent acquisition of Edifecs, a leader in healthcare automation and interoperability, our organization has entered a new era of advanced technologies, actionable data insights, and rapid growth across our customer base. With the ability to better connect payers and providers, Cotiviti has the unique capability to positively impact both medical and administrative cost challenges that healthcare organizations are facing,” said Emad Rizk, M.D., chairman, president and CEO of Cotiviti. “Drawing on his deep and broad experience in healthcare technology and longstanding relationships with our clients, Bob will serve as the ideal leader to champion continued growth across our portfolio of solutions, driven by our commitment to delivering total value, meaningful innovation, and deep expertise to our customers.”

A proven change leader, Kopanic joins Cotiviti from Oracle Health (Cerner), where he led North America healthcare sales and successfully grew top-line revenue, driving client delivery and success and leading solution sales to solve client business needs. His accomplishments also include leading the successful post-acquisition integration of go-to-market teams. Prior to Oracle, he spent 14 years with Philips Corporation as a leader in sales, operations, partnerships, and emerging business solutions. He also previously served in the U.S. Air Force.

“Cotiviti’s position as the leading healthcare solution and technology partner to healthcare organizations is driven not only by its commitment to innovation, but by its reputation for delivering value with integrity to all of our clients,” said Kopanic. “As Chief Revenue Officer, I am committed to fulfilling Cotiviti’s client pledge to be a transparent, problem-solving partner to our clients as we empower them with solutions to reduce medical and administrative waste. I’m eager to take on this responsibility and look forward to partnering with Cotiviti’s seasoned sales and client engagement leaders to deliver even better value to our customers.”

Kopanic will report directly to Dr. Rizk as a member of Cotiviti’s senior leadership team, collaborating with senior business unit leaders across Cotiviti and Edifecs to drive growth across all healthcare solutions spanning payment integrity, quality improvement, risk adjustment, engagement, interoperability, and value-based care.
