MALIBU, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 24, 2025--

Azure Printed Homes, a pioneer in sustainable 3D-printed modular and prefab housing, has been named one of 14 Most Fundable Companies® (MFC) for 2025 by the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School program. The MFC award honors startups nationwide that demonstrate the strongest fundamentals, growth trajectory, and investor readiness. More than 2,300 companies from 50 states applied for the 2025 recognition. Following a rigorous process including extensive application and five interviews and presentations, the 14 winners were announced today on Pepperdine’s Malibu campus.

For investors, the timing of this award is significant, as Azure is

  • Expanding its capacity to rebuild 16,000 homes lost during wildfires in Altadena and Palisades,
  • Scaling production with a new 25,000 sq. ft. Denver factory opening in March 2026, and
  • Expanding the team with 30 new hires to support increasing demand.

This award reinforces why investors are backing Azure in its current raise with a business model built on financial strength, proven demand, and a vision that is already being executed.

“Winning the Most Fundable Companies award validates not only our mission but also the fundamentals of our business,” said Gene Eidelman, co-founder of Azure. “Investors are seeing what Pepperdine’s analysis has confirmed. Azure is ready to scale and is built to dominate our industry.”

The company was founded in March 2022 as an outgrowth of Azure Construction in California. The company is currently completing a $10 million round of funding to use along with the $7.25 million Azure has raised so far, to address $40-plus million in pre-orders.

The company’s primary factory location, which is currently expanding, is based in Los Angeles, in addition to the Colorado factory that will open in early 2026.

Adds Eidelman: “We are a U.S. manufacturer that is immune to tariffs and are scaling as fast as possible to address the current needs. Additionally, we are the only single-family modular manufacturer based in the City of Los Angeles, which is making us an ideal resource to assist in rebuilding at scale following the recent Palisades and Altadena wildfires.”

The company has completed and delivered more than 100 homes so far using technology that is 70% faster and 30% less expensive than traditional construction. In addition to primary homes, ADUs, studios and tiny homes, the company is increasingly prevalent in developments of transitional housing to address the growing problem of homelessness. Outdoor hospitality and glamping resorts are other common buyers of Azure homes. Azure has delivered its homes to glamping resorts in multiple states including California, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina and Texas. By 2030, the company intends to scale to be manufacturing 2,500 homes/year.
