Angelus Block Co. Inc. Hosts Biennial Fastest Trowel on the Block

RIALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 15, 2025--

Angelus Block Company Inc., RCP Block & Brick, and Orco Block & Hardscape are proud to announce the return of the Fastest Trowel on the Block masonry skills competition!

This free, family-friendly event will showcase masonry competitions and fun for all that includes free tacos, burgers, churros, soda, beer, jump houses, vendors, a DJ, and a Cal Portland Ready Mix concrete truck on display for the kids!

The biennial event will be hosted by Angelus Block Company Inc. on October 25, 2025, 6:00am-12:00pm at their brand-new manufacturing plant located at 249 Fortuna Way, Rialto, CA 92316.

This event is open to the public and is free to attend. The Fastest Trowel on the Block competition is a showcase of industry craftsmanship and a testament to both the speed and skills of the industry's workforce. Only those working journeyman masons who have the skill, confidence and courage to face off with the industry's best are invited to compete. The competition will pit working journeyman masons, accompanied by their two favorite tenders, against one another in a show of both speed and craftsmanship with thousands of dollars of prizes on the line!

The event will also include the MITA High School Fastest Trowel Competition and Apprentice Masons Skills Challenge. Contestants will range in age from 14 years of age and up and they will compete for prizes. Winners will be sponsored to the National Competition held in Las Vegas, Nevada in early 2026.
