Skye Reedy Sings about God’s Faithfulness in ‘Promise Keeper’

Having faith and trusting in and relying upon God is easy when the path forward is clear and straightforward. When things are going according to our plan, we’re great. When the outcome becomes a little bit murky and muddled, our trust and faith in Him can become a little shaky, to say the least. Those situations will test and stretch our faith.

It's human nature to question and have concerns when unsure or afraid of what happens next. The Bible is full of people who faced those situations and could do nothing else but trust God to guide and direct them through the situation. And in every circumstance, God was faithful. He never left but remained by their side throughout the whole ordeal.

Skye Reedy sings about having faith and trust in God when the road ahead is unclear. It’s a wonderful, powerful song about God’s love and faithfulness and how He works all things out for those who have love for Him.

In the song, she mentions Moses and Abraham—two people God was faithful to, keeping all the promises He made to them. She adds that no matter what may happen or change, God is forever faithful. He is the Promise Keeper. 

“And I will trust in the plans that You’ve made
Oh, the winds may blow, and the seasons will change
But there’s one thing I know that will still remain
You are the promise keeper”

God has been faithful and seen us through every circumstance and situation. He has never let us down before, and there’s no reason to believe He will do so now or in the future.

2 Timothy 2:13 “If we are without faith, still He keeps faith, for He will never be untrue to Himself.”
