Dear Father, As Valentine's Day often emphasizes our sorrow of not having a Valentine to celebrate and spend time with, open our hearts to receive the love You give us as more than enough. Help us to receive the hope and comfort that comes from you. Let your love and nearness mend and make our hearts anew, knowing that you are our forever Valentine. Lead us to reach out in love to those around us. Lead us to reach out in love to those around us who may also be facing heartache and sorrow on Valentine's Day. Let your love flow through us to bring hope and comfort to them. In Jesus name, Amen.
