Have you ever thought, “I should be happy right now…so why am I not?”
Sometimes the seasons we've looked forward to arrive alongside burdens we never expected.
You can be grateful and still feel sad.
You can love God and still feel overwhelmed.
You can have something wonderful to celebrate while simultaneously grieving something else.
And you don't have to shame yourself for any of it.
Psalm 90:14 says, “Satisfy us in the morning with Your loving devotion, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.”
Sometimes God's answer isn't an immediate change in circumstances.
Sometimes He begins by changing what is happening inside our hearts.
