TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) — NASCAR is at Talladega Superspeedway for today's qualifying for the Aaron's 499 Sprint Cup race. David Ragan won last year's rain-delayed race, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is seeking his sixth victory at Talladega. Joey Logano is hoping for back-to-back wins after capturing last week's race at Richmond.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Angel Cabrera and Martin Flores were co-leaders heading into the third round of the PGA event at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. Flores fired a 68 yesterday and Cabrera countered with a 69, leaving both players 9-under for the tournament and one stroke ahead of Justin Rose.
